Mas Estello — Villa with pool in Paradou, in the heart of the Alpilles
The house
Between sky and earth, beneath the stars.
Perched atop a hill, in the heart of the Alpilles Natural Park, Mas Estello watches over the valley, bathed in the golden light of Provence.
Signed by architects Alain and Liliana Meylan, this exceptional house is a refuge suspended between sky, stone and garrigue. A rare address, carried by a breathtaking view, refined interiors, high-end amenities, a warm welcome and service of the most precious attention.
From the terraces, the eye runs all the way to the Alpilles ridges. Below, the garden melts into the wild landscape: lavender, rosemary, century-old olive trees and Mediterranean scrub grow freely, to the murmur of a fountain cascading down to the foot of the house.
Here, the light changes hour by hour. It caresses the stone, glides over the terraces, sets the hills ablaze at sunset. The architecture marries old materials with contemporary lines, in a silent dialogue, timeless.
Set on the hillside, facing full south, Mas Estello unfolds its 350 sq m in perfect harmony with the landscape. Five bedrooms, five bathrooms, up to twelve guests: each finds their own space, their calm, their breathing room.
The sixteen-metre pool seems to stop where the Alpilles begin, like a line of water stretched toward the horizon.
Air-conditioned, fibre optic, ten minutes from Les Baux-de-Provence.
Spirit
A contemporary architect's house, rooted in the Provençal soul
To cross the threshold is to enter another season.
Stone floors, old wooden parquet, and lime-washed walls in shades of terracotta, sand and sage green compose a soft, soothing atmosphere. Pieces found in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue converse with contemporary Italian furniture, precise and luminous.
Everything seems to have found its rightful place.
Mas Estello is Provence in its most intimate, most peaceful form: silent mornings, afternoons lulled by cicadas, dinners beneath a starlit sky.
A place where you breathe more slowly.
A place where you find yourself again.
A place where, within the first few minutes, you understand why you came.
